Indiana Jones Movie Has a Title

On hand to present the Female Artist of the Year trophy at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards, “Transformers” star Shia LaBeouf informed the folks in attendance, as well as millions of at-home viewers, that the title of the upcoming installment in the Indiana Jones franchise will be “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”

“I’ve been sworn to secrecy by Stephen Spielberg and George Lucas to not tell you the title of the next Indiana Jones movie, but I’m 21 now, so…” LaBeouf said coyly.

Proving that the bean spillage was no accident, Paramount Pictures, the film’s distributor, immediately issued a press release touting LaBeouf’s titular revelation.

The young actor is part of a heavy-hitting cast that includes Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett, Jim Broadbent, Ray Winstone, and John Hurt.

Although the well guarded plot of the fourth film is being kept under proverbial (and possibly actual) lock and key, Karen Allen’s addition to the lineup has sparked speculation that LaBeouf will play her and Ford’s son, who presumably has been long-lost to the intrepid archaeologist.
