Letterman To Do First 2008 Program

Late-night talk show hosts David Letterman (pictured) and Craig Ferguson will both be back on the air tonight, having reached agreements with the striking writers’ union. Leno, O’Brien, and Kimmel are also back on the air, but without the scribes. Because (so far) most Hollywood stars are reluctant to cross picket lines, it doesn’t seem as if Jay, Conan, and Jim-Boy are going to have much star power for their first 2008 outings. In fact, here’s the difference between Dave and Jay tonight: the former has Robin Williams, the latter has Mike Huckabee. Apparently, old Huck doesn’t feel union support can be pried away from the Democrats, so why not be a scab?
