Eminem: New Song, New Book
Some of my friends will probably shun me for saying this, but I like some of the songs of Eminem (pictured). I know, I know: he’s written lyrics and made public utterances that are homophobic and racist and therefore should be consigned permanently to politically correct hell. But there has always been a biting, black-comedy wit in his wordplay that has made me laugh, even when I didn’t want to. Anyway, Em’s got a new track, “I’m Having A Relapse,” floating around the Internet. He’s also got a new book, the autobiographical, “The Way I Am.” In it, Eminem doesn’t so much apologize for past stupidities as shown signs that, at 36, he is finally growing up.
