Ex-basketball player Charles Barkley (pictured) is one of the great entertainers on sports television. He has also expressed interest in running for governor of Alabama, his home state. Something tells me his latest escapade — being arrested in Arizona and charged with DUI — may not lose him his perch on television but it will probably cost him any chance at the state house. At least he was honest: he told arresting officers that he ran the stop sign that got him into trouble because he was in a hurry to get oral sex. He added that, a week earlier, the woman-in-question had given him the best blow job of his life. History shows that men have endured a lot more than a DUI arrest to get great head.
