One Director’s America at MOMA

ramin-bahranis-chop-shop-002Iranian-American director Ramin Bahrani (pictured) will be showcasing two of his films and a preview of his upcoming film, “Goodbye Solo” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The exhibit will feature Bahrani’s films “Man Push Cart” and “Chop Shop” as well as the “Solo” preview. Bahrani’s directorial vision is very much a slice of the reality he wishes to examine, especially that of the American Immigrant worker against the backdrop of NYC. If you were wondering about the life of the guy that sold you your Hebrew National and what it took to get him there, stop by MOMA now — until “Goodbye Solo” opens in theaters March 28.
