Fantasia Returns To “Color Purple”
Fantasia Barrino (pictured) in “The Color Purple” was one of the great musical-theatre performances of recent years; even Broadway veterans like Barbara Cook have said so. So it’s cheering news to learn that Fantasia is returning to the role, joining the national tour in Washington, D.C. this summer.
