Rashad Joins “August” Cast
Phylicia “Mrs. Cosby” Rashad will join the Broadway cast of “August: Osage County” on May 26. She will play the matriarch of the clan, Violet Weston. Her casting will be color-blind, with no attempt to match the races of the other family members. Still no word on who’s scored this plum role for the movie version.
