John Waters To Get Filthier
Now that his “Fruitcake” movie has been pulled from the oven, director John Waters (pictured) has to do something, so why not revive his act? To that end, Waters will perform his standup show “This Filthy World — Dirtier and Filthier” on April 24 at the first CPH:PIX film fest in Copenhagen. The one-man show is a journey through Waters’ life and mind, touching on his fascination with true crime and exploitation films. Trip to Scandinavia will be Waters’ first, according to fest head Niels Lind Larsen. Baltimore on the Baltic!
