Scheming From The Cell Block

2906783SS032_motoxChubby ‘N Sync mastermind Lou Pearlman (pictured) has had plenty of time to think of a way to generate success despite his current situation, i.e., behind bars. Pearlman is only a few years into his 25-year sentence for fraud, the result of a $300 million dollar scheme connected to his creation of two of the 90s most famous boy bands; ‘N Sync and The Backstreet Boys. Pearlman has certainly not stopped for a moment though. His latest plan is to start a reality show centered around a hopelessly unsigned rock band from Florida called Biteboy. The show promises to be ‘like “Charlie’s Angels” meets “Making the Band” meets “Bernie Madoff”‘. Not only would this pathetic excuse for primetime programming put Pearlman’s name back in the mainstream, but every profit he turns takes time out his sentence, according to a statute stating that prisoners can participate in documentaries and reality shows providing proceeds go to the victims’ families. A judge who sentenced Pearlman said that for every million Pearlman gives back to his victims, one month of his sentence will be removed. Ladies and Gentlemen, prepare to turn off your TVs.
