Soundgarden Reunites, Almost

At the end of the night, Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd, Matt Cameron joined forces with Seattle music steady Tad Doyle to form Tadgarden, which rocked three songs before ending the evening. Soundgarden, which has been broken up for a decade, has never made the move to reunite since frontman Chris Cornell took off for a solo career, the latest project of which was Audioslave with Morello. Mostly though, I love that a headline for a reunion immediately clarifies that it didn’t really happen. Ah, wordplay.
