Al Pacino To Play Napoleon

al-pacinonapoleon2He’s short, he’s intense, he likes to marshal the troops. So I guess Al Pacino is an apt choice to play Napoleon in “Betsy and the Emperor,” based on a novel by Staton Rabin. This is the rarely told true story of the last chapter in emperor Napoleon’s life, when he is deserted, imprisoned, humiliated, and destitute in the island of Saint Helena, and his relationship with Betsy Balcombe, a 14-year-old British girl whose father lives on the island where Napoleon is first sequestered.
