“Museum” Spotlights Smithsonian
When the first “Night at the Museum” movie came out three years ago, it was a big shot in the arm for New York’s Museum of Natural History, boosting attendance the following six months by 40 percent. I have a feeling that the “Museum” sequel, which stars Ben Stiller (pictured) and which just had a big weekend at the box office, will do the same for D.C.’s Smithsonian, where the story takes place.
