Did Paul Recapture The Magic?
Yesterday, Paul McCartney returned to the Ed Sullivan Theatre, 45 years after the Beatles made their American television debut there. He was appearing on Letterman, who now inhabits the studio. I didn’t catch Paul’s musical performance (I was working, and didn’t need a soporific), but I did hear some of his interview: mildly interesting stuff that, as usual, made me long for John Lennon.
