Tyler Perry: Sexually Abused?
Writer/director/producer Tyler Perry (pictured) is the king of African-American stories at the cineplex, and presides over an empire that includes stage, TV, and much more. He’s become such a player that Oprah sought his help to push the Oscar-contending movie “Precious” out into the world. Now, a sometimes unreliable online website has learned that Perry is opening up about the physical and sexual abuse he suffered as a child.
