HBO Goes To War In “Pacific”
The idea of watching the entire Hanks-and-Spielberg-produced miniseries “The Pacific” sounds about as enjoyable as Burma Road (look up that reference), but I did enjoy the pair’s “Band of Brothers” when I finally caught up to it on non-premium TV, and I suspect I’ll feel the same with “Pacific.” The reviews for the epic series are, well: epic.
