Matt Damon Guests On “30 Rock”
“30 Rock,” which had been conspicuously lacking in laughs lately, recovered last night with a fairly amusing finale. Highlight: Matt Damon, looking a little pudgy but good, as the boyfriend of Liz Lemon (my cousin), aka Tina Fey. Unfortunately, Julianne Moore, whom I usually think a goddess, was still around, sporting that awful Boston accent (at least she had a line poking fun at accents). Why didn’t Damon, who got his start with a working-class Boston accent in “Good Will Hunting,” give her a tip or two?
