H. Night Has Last Laugh

In spite of receiving some of the most hateful reviews of the year, M. Night Shyamalan’s new flick, “The Last Airbender,” had a big weekend ($53.2 million), denied from topping the list only by a little something called “Twilight: Eclipse.” Further proof that movie critics don’t matter? Or confirmation of that old H.L. Mencken quotation: “Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public.”
