What I Want For Christmas
Betty White may be the most beloved Old Lady since the Queen Mum, but when it came time for ABC Studios and Disney to come up with a 25th anniversary Complete Collection of “The Golden Girls,” they didn’t go to Betty’s character, Rose, they went to Estelle Getty’s character, Sophia. The 21-DVD release of this set includes all 7 seasons of the show, and will be in a package designed in the form of Sophia’s purse. The set is available beginning November 9th, but of course you can order beforehand. (Hat tip to Peter Mahler.)
