“The Fighter” Trailer: Cliché Alert!
“The Fighter,” starring Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale, has been talked up as an Oscar possibility. This new trailer, however, makes it look like every other grade-B boxing pic, full of the usual cliches of the genre: Never give up; Every down-and-out boxer needs the love of a good woman, etc.
