Bloody “Carrie” To Be Revived

I was one of the three or four people who saw the 1988 musical “Carrie” when it plopped onto Broadway, so I announce with trepidation that the show — an adaptation of a 1970s movie based on a Stephen King novel — is being revived off-Broadway next season. New songs are promised; knives are sharpening already. By the way, the video excerpt above, with Betty Buckley and Linzi Hateley, is a song about the curse of menstruation. And that’s one of the tamer ones. Sheesh!
