Today On Oprah: “Sound Of Music”
This afternoon, turn off the Judge Judy for a change! Or at least, set your DVRs to tape what’s opposite her: Oprah. Today, Miss O is hosting a “Sound of Music” reunion. Christopher Plummer, who played Captain von Trapp in the musical, refers to it as “S & M.” Let’s hoping watching the actors waltz down memory lane isn’t too strudelish. In the photo above, notice how Julie Andrews, nipped and tucked, looks younger than some of the actors who played her children.
I like the “Sound of Music” very much. I have watched it many times. I wish I knew the lyrics of the song sung by Captain Von Trapp that has the “Farewell” message, so I can keep singing it as lullaby for my grandson.
