Kate Middleton: The Musical Parody
Now that Kate Middleton has landed Prince William for good (or at least until the inevitable affairs and heartache and Royal Divorce), it’s time for the musical parodies. At least one — “When will he marry me?“, with “Oliver”-ish overtones — already exists. When I think that Kate is a money-grubbing commoner, I think of another title by the composer (Lionel Bart) of “Oliver”: “Fings Ain’t Wot They Used T’Be.”
