Florence’s Machine: Worth A Listen?
Florence and the Machine are everywhere these days, and their fans are legion. I think I’m missing something: all I hear is an ethereal women’s voice that owes lots to Annie Lennox, Bjork, Enya, et al. That’s good company, I know, but Florence’s sound would be even easier to take if her songs were better.
