“Skin”: Undies Cause Controversy
If I had a teenage daughter, I don’t think I’d appreciate the kind of sexualized 15-year-old portrayed on MTV’s “Skins.” But I don’t think I’d be quite as concerned by the photos of “Skin” stars in lingerie in the latest issue of Elle. Fifteen seems almost ancient by the standards of pop-culture bare-all midriffs. Have any of the people protesting the Elle pics ever seen images from a little-girl beauty pageant? Now, those are porn!
