Jeremy Renner As Bourne: Really?
Jeremy Renner, star of “The Hurt Locker,” engenders audience good will. In spite of his relatively short stature and pretty-bulldog looks, Renner has some heat. I’m not sure how all this will translate to Bourne, however. Matt Damon brought hollowed-out, slightly affectless vibes to the part. Renner will probably overwhelm it with intensity. Unlike the Bond franchise, though, which I can take or leave, I will follow Bourne to the ends of the earth.
Interesting, I never thought highly of the Bourne Movies though. Their close camera action scenes make me dizzy. I hope they change that, because the scenes could look great!
