Monkees Swing Back Into Action
Despite tabloid rumours of the rekindled bickering that has caused turbulence during previous reunions, Peter Tork, Davey Jones and Mickey Dolenz are getting together for a British tour to celebrate the The Monkee’s 45th anniversary. Michael Nesmith (who inherited the millions his mother made inventing Liquid Paper) won’t be joining the lads, known to detractors as “The Prefab Four.” I retain a soft spot for the group — “Daydream Believer” is the kind of catchy you don’t hate yourself for in the morning.
