Academy Award, Here I Come!
“The Iron Lady,” in which Meryl Streep plays Margaret Thatcher, will be released by the Weinstein Company later this year. Meryl has been nominated for 16 Oscars but hasn’t won since 1982. If she doesn’t win for the Thatcher biopic, then she should boycott the Academy Awards forever after. Maybe she can persuade the Weinsteins to insert a Thatcher death scene to increase her Oscar chances.
