“The Good Wife” Wraps Season
I have friends who watch “The Good Wife,” so I try to tune in from time to time. I caught the season finale last night. It’s always a treat to see so many New York actors crowd a frame, especially Christine Baranski. And there are the appealing stars: Julianna Margulies and Josh Charles (pictured). But I was struck again by how generally humorless the series is, except when Alan Cummings shows up with the Scottish twinkle that even his American accent can’t camouflage. And if there’s one thing I can’t bear as I get older it’s lack of humor.
