Betty’s “Hello, Dolly!” Salute
I can only attribute such a lapse to all the summer heat: how could I have neglected to share with you Betty White’s “Hello, Dolly!” tribute to Morgan Freeman at the AFI salute to Freeman earlier this summer? As fun as Betty’s turn was, however, let’s pray that it is not she who stars in the long-talked-about revival of the show on Broadway. Even though she would sell tons of tickets.
