Kathie Lee’s Musical Is Back!
Even if I were having a bad day, this would be a reason to go on living: “Saving Aimee,” the Kathie Lee Gifford musical about evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson, has been resurrected! This long-aborning project, which Gifford wrote with David Friedman and David Pomeranz, will play the 5th Avenue Theater in Seattle for a month beginning September 30. In this interview, Gifford speaks of her dream that the show will come to Broadway. Are you skeptical that a show about religious nuts could make it on the Great White Way?
