“Descendants,” “Artist” Keep Rolling
“The Descendants” and “The Artist” keep racking up the wins in the end-of-year critics’ awards. The selections for actor and actress, however, continue to be all over the map. The LA Critics made an especially perverse selection with Yun Jung-hee the Best Actress winner for “Poetry.” (You haven’t seen it, either?) The only category that’s starting to look like a runaway is Christopher Plummer (pictured) as Best Supporting Actor for “Beginners.”
