“Luck”: Strong Out Of The Gate
David Milch used to live in the apartment directly above mine, and as I heard him pacing at night I often wondered if he were mulling over dialogue from his HBO show, “Deadwood.” He has since moved away, so I don’t know if he’s pacing much as he works on his new HBO series, “Luck,” starring Dustin Hoffman in a story about horseracing. The Hollywood Reporter approves.
