“Carrie Diaries” Is Not “Gossip Girl”

When the project was first announced, some readers wondered how it would distinguish itself from ‘Carrie Diaries’ executive producers’ Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage’s other CW soap ‘Gossip Girl’ (romantic prime-time soap, New York City setting, voiceover narration).” It turns out that Carrie’s first love isn’t a boy.
Gossip Girl is one of my favorite shows so I’m really looking forward to this.
God, I am so tired of Carrie Bradshaw. Can we have some new characters, please?
Of course they had to make Carrie a teenage lesbian. Lame.
