Ryan’s “One Hit Wonders” Has All-Star Cast
Do you think that “Glee” co-creator Ryan Murphy (pictured) may have wanted a little comic relief after he finished filming the AIDS drama “The Normal Heart”? Why else would his next movie be “One Hit Wonders,” with Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon to play singers who had a few hit songs in the 1990s but have fallen by the way side since, and then team up to in an attempt to find new glory. Given Gwynnie movie track record lately, and the bombing of Reese’s last movie, “This Means War,” is art (“few hit songs”) about to imitate life?
