I was perusing this article about why so many of the most successful musicals of all time have connections to French literature, when I realized: “Blood Brothers” is still running in London. This show has been on the West End for twenty-five years! It had a fairly unsuccessful run on Broadway in the nineties; the producers tried to prop it up by casting people like Helen Reddy and Carole King. But no go.
