Bieber (And Everyone Else!): Call Me Maybe

My friend Brooks has insisted that I watch a video featuring a performer to whom I toxically allergic: Justin Bieber. The Beeb, who recently ditched his baby-lesbian haircut, “covers” Carly Rae Jepsen’s naggingly infectious tune “Call Me Maybe” with Ashley Tisdale and Selena. Katy Perry and her gaggle of gay girlfriends have also spoofed the song. How long before we get a Filipino prisoners’ or a Marines-in-Iraq version?

  1. Why do you clutter up your otherwise interesting site with trip like these kids?

  2. The Katy Perry spoof version just shows how bad her real, non-studio-fixed voice really is.

  3. Thank God Justin Bieber isn’t gay.

  4. You will all…at some point…over the next few months of Summer…be jamming out to this song. And somewhere in the back of your heads, you will hear a little voice. And that voice will be me…calling you, maybe. Or perhaps even singing to you: “I told you so.”

  5. According to the experts, the Song of the Summer is rarely released in March.
