Will “Bombshell The Musical” Bomb?

I’m talking about “Smash,” of course, in which the show-within-the-show about Marilyn Monroe is about to have an out-of-town tryout in Boston. We’ll find out on Monday, I guess, although this past Monday’s episode was so whack that I keep threatening my secret-show-queen self to finally bail on the whole enterprise. (Everyone is now sleeping with everyone else.) But I’ll stick with it, even though the way NBC pre-markets each episode is stuck in the Stone Age. For example, why is Uma Thurman‘s big number (video here) from next week on both Hulu and YouTube? Why aren’t the show’s hot singles, like Katharine McPhee‘s “Touch Me,” leaked all over the blogosphere and available on iTunes before an episode airs? Just asking.

  1. Stick with your inner show queen: stop watching this mess of a show.

  2. I can’t wait to see Uma Thurman take the stage!

  3. Uma may be the star, and Megan may look the part, but they’d better give the role to Katharine McPhee.
