The New York Times, the prayer mat of right-minded people everywhere (everywhere the Hamptons are considered a good thing, that is), tells us that “Magic Mike” is the most popular movie among the same-sex crowd since “Brokeback Mountain.” So how’s Steven Soderbergh, the “Magic Mike” director, going to, ahem, top himself? By making what he calls “the gayest movie ever.” Which could only have one possible subject: Liberace. Oh, you thought Britney Spears?
