More than 12 million people have taken part in the London 2012 Festival – the cultural program of the Olympics – according to organizers. In fact, 2.9 million people took part in a bell-ringing event. How could I have missed something so utterly consequential to the artistic life of the planet? So important that the UK’s Culture Minister, Jeremy Hunt (pictured), took part?
