Movies: If you liked “Bridesmaids,” you’ll probably like “Bachelorette.” If you like documentaries, you’ll probably like “Detropia.” Television: “How The Beatles Rocked The Kremlin,” airing Friday on PBS, has possibilities. On Sunday, “Broadway or Bust,” in which sixty performers get one-on-one coaching by Broadway’s top talent, has its premiere. Music: Cat Power’s new CD, “Sun,” is selling surprisingly well. Books: I’m looking forward to Michael Chabon’s new novel, “Telegraph Avenue.” Sports: The NFL season is underway, but I’m still mired in baseball and the U.S. Open. Go, Serena! Finally: I didn’t watch a minute of the Democratic National Convention, and I don’t feel the least bit guilty about it. Like most of you, I’ve already made up my mind.
