The animated television series “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” is wildly popular – but not with the audience you might expect. The cartoon is a spinoff of My Little Pony, a 1980s children’s program intended for girls. Today, however, many of the show’s fans are young adult men who call themselves bronies.
