David Kelley’s New Medical Drama
David E. Kelley has a new medical drama with a strong cast coming to TNT next year. Here’s a first look. It’s called “Monday Mornings,” which is set at the fictional Chelsea General Hospital in Portland, Oregon. The drama stars Ving Rhames (pictured), Alfred Molina, Jamie Bamber and Jennifer Finnigan. Based on the book by Dr. Sanjay Gupta (who also serves as an executive producer on the show), the title refers to the hospital’s weekly morbidity and mortality conference, when doctors gather with their peers for a confidential review of complications and errors in patient care. The series comes to TNT on Feb. 4.
