N-Word Doesn’t Stop “Django” Success

Why would anyone have thought that multiple uses of the N-word would deter African-American audiences from “Django Unchained”? Since when have multiple uses of the N-word deterred such audiences from spending money on hip-hop records that are pocked full of such vulgarity? And don’t tell me that there’s a difference: Quentin Tarantino, the director of “Django,” is white, and hip-hop artists are black. Eminem is just one of several white hip-hop artists who have employed the N-word without having it torpedo his million-dollar earnings.
