Overseas Audiences Flock To “Life Of Pi”
I understand why some people love “Life of Pi”: its special effects and spiritual uplift are a potent combination. For me, however, the special effects became wearing and I’m immune to the spiritual uplift. Mine is the minority view, however: “Pi” is a big hit overseas and should do very well when Oscar noms are announced later this week.
