“Soul Doctor”: My FT Review
My review of the new Broadway musical “Soul Doctor,” about Shlomo Carlebach, has been published in the Financial Times. Bottom line: ‘This show about the life of a ‘rock ’n’ roll rabbi’ is lifted by two strong central performances’ — from Eric Anderson and Amber Iman (pictured). Anderson is Carlebach and Iman is Nina Simone.
