Bob Fosse Gets New Book & Video

Even books now have to have video trailers. EW.com carries a clip for ‘Sam Wasson’s upcoming biography of Bob Fosse (out Nov. 5) — appropriately titled “Fosse.” Wasson, author of the best-selling “Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.,” spent three and a half years writing this 750-page epic about the epic man responsible for iconic dance numbers in “Chicago,” “Cabaret,” and other Oscar- and Tony-winning shows. This hilarious video shows Wasson attempting to emulate his subject’s womanizing, passionate, and perfectionist ways. Wasson may not have succeeded in becoming Fosse, but he succeeded in bringing him to life in his bio.’ If you don’t have the time for 750 pages, I suggest you watch Fosse’s passionately cuckoo autobiographical movie, “All That Jazz.” Jessica Lange, now of “American Horror Story,” is in it.
