“The Sound Of Music”: Latest Trailer
I ran into my friend Laura Benanti on the street the other day and I said: “I almost didn’t recognize you — your hair is so long. Is this Baroness Chic?” I was referring, of course, to the fact that Laura will be playing the Baroness (the Eleanor Parker role in the 1965 movie) in NBC’s live version of “The Sound of Music,” to be broadcast on Thursday, December 5th. Carrie Underwood (pictured) is Maria and Audra McDonald is the Head Nunnie. Here’s the teaser trailer.
