“Filth” To Get An American Release

I loved “Filth, a low-down, raunchy, funny movie based on a book by Irvine Welsh (“Trainspotting”). So I’m happy that it has just picked up an American distributor, which hasn’t set a firm release date yet. James McAvoy plays Detective Sergeant Bruce Robertson, a scheming, manipulative, misanthropic man who spends his time indulging in drugs, alcohol, sexually abusive relationships, and ‘the games’ – cruel plots and systematic bullying of his coworkers and friends. In other words, don’t take the kids.
