Kanye Accused Of Anti-Semitism
In case you didn’t know: On November 26, Kanye West did a radio interview with New York station Power 105, in which he made comments contrasting President Obama and George Bush. At one point, he described his belief that Obama has fewer “connections”: {Man, let me tell you something about George Bush and oil money and Obama and no money. People want to say Obama can’t make these moves or he’s not executing. That’s because he ain’t got those connections… Black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people. Black people don’t have the same connections as oil people.” The statement has been called anti-Semitic by the Anti-Defamation League, who have asked that Kanye apologize. The organization’s national director Abraham H. Foxman took to their website Monday to offer a statement.
