Olympics Choreographer Defends Russia
I got a great deal of pleasure, years ago, watching Daniel Ezralow dance for the Paul Taylor Company. I got no pleasure at all from reading this interview with him about his choreography for Friday’s opening ceremony at Sochi. Most disquieting quote from the article: ‘Although Ezralow wouldn’t say anything specifically about Russia’s anti-gay law, he said he personally believes in “tolerance for all human beings.‒ I know Ezralow is taking Putin’s paycheck and so needs to be diplomatic. But “tolerance”? Are you f-ing kidding me?
